Advanced Web Ranking is like the name is indicating a software that helps you track your website ranking at any search engine. When ordered the program updates your different websites and keywords and displays the change in lists and graphs. This kind of program is essential when you want to do a little SEO and measure the outcome of your work.

I’m using the program to monitor the changes of some of my clients websites, but also my own www.tinocordes.dk, www.freelance-webdesigneren.dk and www.din-freelance-grafiker.dk which has a lot of the same keywords.

Current Rank

… displays in my case the three websites and the rankings for a selected keyword and search engine. Besides the current ranking, it also shows the previous, the change and the best rank. If more than one page is ranking it will be displayed in this column.

Keyword Rank

Has a complete list of your keywords and displays the results for a selected website in a similar way to Current Rank. This is a good tool for check the overall changes of your website rankings.

Search Engine Rank

In this column you can see a graph that shows the evolution of your rankings.

Top Sites

Is a good feature where you can see a top-50 search result of each keyword and search engine, you can also see the pagerank and the evolution of your competitors.

Overview

This report can show an overview of all of your information. I have chosen to let show the results for the four search engines I am checking. When I select my website www.tinocordes.dk I can see the status for all of my keywords and the latest changes.

You have the possibility of sort the output in Search engines, Keywords or Websites like me.

Visibility

Visibility displays an overview of how many keywords you have en In top 5, 10, 20, 30 or in first place.

Besides these reports Advanced Web Ranking has some pretty good features.

Keyword analysis

When started this little feature runs a test of your website and displays a list of the words and frequency of these words. It also analyses you Meta-data which can help you adjust these. After the test you can compare the results to other websites that you are monitoring.

Search Engine Update

Caphyon is monitoring the search engines and sends updates to the program when a engine is changed or new.

The features I have described above can be found in the standard version. The more expensive versions can create and send reports and have features like Proxy per project, Multiple proxy, Keyword Research Tool, Customizable reports and a lot more.

Knowing your links is very important to any website-owner, therefor Advanced Link Manager is a very helpful tool. The software can help you find broken links, to see you incoming links and a estimation of you link popularity. Advanced Link Manager is a good sidekick to Advanced Web Ranking and together the programs gives you a good overview of your websites.

The software displays information in these columns Domain Information Report, Unverified Referrers Report, Referrers Report, Backlinks Evolution Report, Search Engine Evolution Report, Link Text Report.

If you having a link campaign Advanced Link Manager can help monitor these link and check that your a getting what you paid for. You can also import referrers from a text file if these a not found by the search engines.

The program can also be used to spy on the competition and see where they get their links from. This can help get ideas for optimizing your rankings.

Reports can be personalized and exported in various ways – they can be send to an e-mail adress or uploaded to a server.

The Enterprise version has a good feature for finding Link Partners called Potential Referrers wizard. Through the search engines results the program finds potential referrers for your websites. Updating and backup can be done manually or scheduled.

Conclusion

I find both programs very useful and helps me monitor my website and their keywords. I think that the programs will help getting my main website a higher ranking in the future. With the many features and good reports I recommend the programs to any other user.
